Trip Report Here we go Date: 04/22/07 Player: yourchipsmystack For Rooms: Binion's,Fitzgeralds, Summary: Just one of thos days Content: Got off my flight at 11:27 and took my cab to binions. As I exited the cab my first thought was wow this smells a lot like Bourbon St. Puke and piss... Well I must have beennear a dumpster or something. Got in the casino got checked in room not bad just dated. Mini fridge, couch table and chairs. Go back down and buy into a 1/2 NL game for $200. Bounce around 140-250 for a while then doube up on a guy to put me at about $375. Next hand I get pocket 3's on the big blind. Player 1 raises to $12 and three callers here we go flop 8 3 6 nice hit my set. Player 1 leads out with $48 pot sized bet fold to me and I bump it to 100 turn a 10 he checks I put him in for his last $200 he promptly calls never did show his cards but I took a huge pot had close to $750 after that. I quit after 3 hours of play with $701 a $1 chip for my 5 year old. Took a nap got back up at 10PM and went to play down stairs. Buy in $200 which made me about the largest stack at a 6 handed table second hand look down to see pocket 6's flop 10C 3C 6S nice hit my set. Guy next to me bets $40 I bump to 100 dont want him drawing a flush he puts me all in I call and he proceeds to hit his flush on the river. -200 rebuy 200 more about another 10 minutes later loose in similar fashion. Time to get the hell out of there walk down to the fitz. I really like ther tables chips move easy cards slide nice but the are old. buy into 1/2 there play a bit and get 10/7 in the big blind and check. Flop comes 10 7 7 nice girl bets 25 I make it 50 to go she pushes I call she flips K 7 so she has 3 outs. Needless to say she hit her out on the river. Down $100 for the trip. Back to binions and try to eat at the binions cafe and get a coke then never see a waitress for 25 minutes get up and ask where to pay for my coke they tell me to just take it. Was going to get the prime rib special. Back to the poker room for the 2AM tourney. Play well about 40 total after the alternates. Make final table but get put out in 9th when I am small blinds 800 1600 and I have 2700 so I push hit my set on the flop and get a river str8 to my caller. Oh well I will take 9th considering how card dead I was. Will play the 10AM binions today and the noon 10k hope to see some of you tehre. I will be wearing abright orange Tenesse hat tomorrow to stand out for you AVPers |
