Trip Report Sahara tournments Date: 02/25/07 Player: Willtakem For Rooms: Sahara, Summary: best tourny for the money in Vegas. Content: That being said,it is the Sahara, so its all middle class folks about 60-40 locals to tourists the dealers are a mix from great to horrible. the room is a decent size and not to hard to move around in. the tournment itself is good a mixed bag of player types as you would find elsewhere.A good solid player should be able to make the final table enough times to make it worth while.Usally 60-80 players at the 7-11 pm tourney. the only thing that irks me in a big way is the chips, they have no dollar amount on them. so you have to remember what the colors are in each color up. And if you play cash games there is only a 4$ comp issued to you for food and you have to ask the floorman for it. Remember a bad fold is much better than a bad call.... |
