wsop satellite and paris ans aladdin tourneys
Date: 08/11/06
Player: nyrhockeyfan
For Rooms: Aladdin,Paris,Rio,

Summary: not too bad aladdin $1/$2 cash table saved the trip from being a total disaster

Content: the first day me and a friend of mine hit the 130 pm tourney over at the paris.you got a good return on your money ,but the blind schedule was too quick they go from 300 600 right to 500 1000.i didnt do to well after a 5 hours flight, but the cards werent helping either.i played in the tourney about 5 times while i was there and coming in 4th in 1 of them getting $210 for a $50 buyin.so i was down a little.

As for the aladdin i had played there in previous years and i was disappointed to see where the poker tables were. they were next to the biggest and loudest wheel of fortune penny slot game.

i also did not like the all in fest because of the rebuys some guy actually called me with 2 7 os and caught his 2 on the flop luckily the board paired aces and seven and i won with q high.

as for the cash tables,i am mostly a tournament player ,but took a shot at $1/$2 no limit and stayed pretty tight winning about $300 in about 8 hrs of play .i did get lucky though when my pocket kings tripped up on the flop to beat pockets aces and i took about $100 in profit and that one hand.

Overall not a bad trip only down about $100 after was said and done and that included a non eventful satellite at the wsop at the rio.i would say hit the paris for a tournament .they run every 2 hours with the highest buy in of $70.
