Work Trip with a little poker...

Summary: Fish @ Excalibur and Poker Room coming to Ti soon.

Content: During the past week (Just got back today) i was able to play at the Excalibur poker room while staying at NY NY. This is a good sized room, fast enough drinks (free, i tipped $1 each time and they came back fast).

The $1/3 spread game is hilliarous (Sp?) just a drinking game where you can bet 1-3 each time, not like straight 3/6 limit. Fun, i was up about 20 in two hands, then took the requisite bad beats by people who were marginal at best.

Played their 9AM Daily tourney on Friday, you only get 300 in chips ($35 entry) and they had about 6 tables or 60 some people roughly. Got down to final threee tables and then got caught stealing blinds. Okay, but with only 300 chips and quick blinds it turns into a race.

Walked by the Poker Rooms at the Venetian and Monte Carlo, both look nice, especially the Venetian, very well laid out and classy looking. The Monte's was nice smaller but had a warm feeling (Dark woods, red paint, and painting) would play there if have time next time.

Finally stayed at Ti the last night and walked by their food / shopping hallway and they are installing a nice poekr room it looked like. about 9 table or so not huge but big enough.

Good Luck
