What a trip--2/23- 2/27.
Date: 02/28/06
Player: PIPES123
For Rooms: Aladdin,Caesars Palace,Wynn,

Summary: What a trip...maniac poker at the Aladdin...late evening session @ Caesar's and to top it all off with some cards at the Wynn.

Content: We arrived at 11:35pm on Thurs night. We checked into our hotel by 12:30, then we were off to the Aladdin to play some cards as we had great fun there on our last trip to Vegas. We arrived at the Aladdin at about 1:30am and the room was quiet. A tourney was about to start and we wanted to play a nl cash game. They started a new table for us. (I came with 5 others) It was like the home game except with a rake. Soon after though we got some new players, and some of my buds went to bed. The game became an action game to say the least.. blind straddles, followed by blind $30 raises, for $1-2 nl. So the chips were flying. The game went on till 10am, and we were all a bit drunk to say the least. I ended up down about $20 after some major swings...

Ended up waking up @ 5pm on Friday. Went for some dinner and then headed to Caesars. Great room, sat in for the 1-2 nl game until about 11pm, then had to tap out. Game was pretty easy. Play tight aggressive and you can make some good cash. People at Caesar's seem to have a little more cash to their name than some other rooms. Finished the session up +350.

Woke up Sat. went to the Wynn for breakfast. Did some tourist stuff like hitting the stratosphere for some rides, then hit Caesar's again that night. Started off good, but then took some bad beats...1010 vs. 33 all in preflop and buddy made runner runner straight. Had AJ on J high flop, buddy goes all in, I call, he flips over 88 and catches river 8. Had set of Kings cracked by runner runner flush. Played till 4am. down 325.

Played Wynn on Sunday. 1-3nl game was tight at first then chips were flying. Most players seemed to have more money then sense there. If you can make some hands you can clean up, but preflop raises of $12-$15 were routinely getting 4-5 callers, and $24-30 preflop raises still got 2-3 callers easily. Got cold decked and lost a few pots.. Down $125

Took the red eye back on Sunday night, had a great time!
