SWA round trip from nashville - 7 nights hotel - car - gas - hotel rip-off tax - and one breakfast or lunch/day - $591.00- 1st win.
stayed at Circus-Circus for the 1st time - nice clean room in new
tower.

1st night - got the car - in/out burger (great food) 2nd win.
2 hours of 1/2 NL +78.00 and 2 drinks

2nd day - golden nugget $340 tourney -played in a big room alot of tables - nice and comfortable- nice staff, well run- close to 300 players-
1st place pays close to 30K- i start at the final table (every table will eventually come to us) - 5 hours into tourney - cut-off all-in with 45K - look down in BB to see AA - have him covered with over 60K - call - cut-off has JJ - flop J,K,10 - turn- small card - river blank - ouch - down to 14k or so - after another round - cut-off calls -(same guy)- I go all-in with A-9 from small blind - bb folds - cut-off calls after 2 or 3 minutes of debating and turns over A-4
flop of K,Q,k - turn 10 - thinking it will be a split pot UNLESS a 4 hits on the river - river is a ..........4. Go out 80th or so.

3rd day - play in the caesars big stack tourney $340 entry
alot of play for your money - good tourney - nice room - comfortable - play 4 hours chip up to 25k - following hand
pick up KK - I raise 3 times blinds -pot is reraised and called before its back to me- (one guy overplayed A-rag alot) (other guy bad player- in alot of hands with rags) I reraise all-inn - A- rag folds- next guy calls - turns over 77- wow -I am already counting his chips - flop 7,blank,blank- turn blank - river blank - ouch #2

4th day - take monday off to visit friends in area and go to red rock park? nice drive and view.

5th day - enter tourney at Wynn's don't remember the entry fee -180 players- nice room -overall the room was a bit cramped- surpised by this - nice staff - played another 5 hours and doubled up a couple of times to 50k or so - one hand I hit trips on the flop - I check to the preflop raiser who goes all -in with AK - no pair - drawing dead - easy call and double up - around later hit a nut-straight on the river
and was raised and re-raised before it got to me. nice pot.
got moved to new table down to 26 players and 18 get paid.
then I mis-stepped had plenty of chips to make it to the money and over play 66 go all in -I am against A-K - flop of Q,J, 3- then opponent across from me starts saying -no 6 - no 6 - ? I inform him I was still ahead. Turn K ouch #3 - didn't play much longer went out 23rd. A-7 vs 8-7 and flop of 883. no luck - but my faught on the 6-6 hand - badly played considering the money.

6th day Binions Horseshoe - enjoy being there - old school atmosphere - older dealers who have seen alot and are pretty funny with some of their stories - small tourney - 110 people- play down to 2 tables after the dinner break - having a good time - can not stop laughing - local pro and dealer are jabbing at each other and are too funny. start with 10 k up and down more than usual - win with 7-8 ,loss with A-K - kind of day -chip leader 2 to my right raising or re-raising every hand with-out looking at his cards- blinds at 2k-4k anti of 500 or so - I have 14K left - bully raises - every one folds to me look down at J-10 Suited - go all-in - bully calls flips over 2-3 un-suited - flop of 2,3,10 -I saw the 10 first in the window and thought my luck is changing then saw the 2 and 3 . turn 7 -river a blank - I need to quit playing tourneys too much time get really close to the money and go O for 4 - ouch

7th day and 8th day play cash 1-2 NL just about everywhere for 2 to 3 hours each place. -and went and watched WSOP

MGM is wild and crazy - big stacks- loose players - just need to be patient - alot of fun - good staff and good spacing of the tables - nice poker room
Aria - Nice new poker room - comfortable
Excalibur - I really like this poker area - kind of out in the
middle of things - but a good place to play.
M Resort - very nice - older crowd - fun group
Harrah's - don't care for - bad vibe to me - for a Harrah's
property should be better. needs some updating
didn't stay long.
Mandalay Bay - nice comfortable room - next to sports book

-1200 on the trip plus expenses but had a blast and can't wait for next year. The WSOP is amazing.
