Left Toronto Monday l9th for 4 nights compd at Flamingo. Sitting in departure lounge - ooo shiH!H!H! left my passport and BP at coffee bar, rush back it wasnt there. After triple checking it was in my pocket. Phew, relax - think it was over excitement.
\About 30 mins to check into my room, had low expectations as it was free. Wow what a pleasant surprise. Awesome view of Bellagio fountains, Ballys, Paris etc. Large room and very clean.
\Keep sending me deals I will be back.
\The rest of this is split into 3 sections. Food, Free shows and poker.
\Food Wherever I went excellent. Best breakfast was at Mon Gabi at front of Paris. Excellent French Toast. Dinner buffet at Wynn was $40 but well worth it budget permitting.Steak at Bellagio. Chineese all u can eat at Bills. Then more downscale at Burger King in OSheas and foot long one lunch for about $2 - You will not go short of good food on the strip even if you have a tight budget.
\Free Shows Sirens at TI lasted about 20 mins. Good show but dont get there 2 mins before it starts or you will be 10 rows back like me. Mirage volcano only lasted 4 mins. Just flames out of mountain. Guess thats what a volcano is lol Not worth th1e time in my opinion Bellagio fountains I am addicted watched them at least once every day.
\Poker Played at Flamingo, OSheas, IP< Statosphere, Aria, Bellagio,Binions and Golden Nugget. Last time I played at Bills but room has now moved to an area near players card - no vegas atmosphere. Aria was probably nicest room. Went downtown one day and it was so different. Smaller casinos and no grand hotels like bellagio, caesars etc Journey down passed many pawn shops and wedding chapels. One was even a drive thru lol
\Pet Peeve all the people on strip giving out porn brochures Just wanted to shout immigration and see how many ran.Get out of my way
\All in all a great trip and ready to go back, hopefully Mar 2011.. It was HOT got up- to 112 one day. Just keep- drinking lots of water and its ok
