Summary: If you can't spot the sucker at the table, I guess it is you.

Content: Well it all starts out by arriving in Vegas on November 1st. I get there around 3 pm and the sky looks like rain. Wouldn't you know it rains the first day I am in Vegas, so I decide to go down to the Excalibur Room and check it out. I watch for a while before I decide to give it a whirl. I get all set up with puting money on my players card (a little weird), table fills up and I have to wait. I goto dinner and get way to drunk to play, so I decide to wait to morning.

On November 2nd, I go down to play (.50/$1 no-limit) and there are six guys playing. I sit down and start to play. The third hand in I get pocket kings in the BB. I think great this may work out. UTG makes 3x raise, folds to button, he calls. SB reraises now its a 12x raise. I have 50 in my stack and push. UTG folds after 5 minutes, button folds and SB intsacalls. Wouldn't you figure SB has aces, I instantly think of pokerstars and how this happens on electronic poker. Of course, I bust out and go reload. This time I play A lot tighter and smarter (I hope), until this next hand came along. I am on the button and look down at A-10 off. MP limps, I raise it up to $6, SB folds, BB calls and MP calls. Flop comes out K-Q-10 rainbow. BB checks, MP checks and I Check. Turn brings out another 10. BB checks, MP checks and I make a pot sized raise with a set. BB folds and MP pushes. I have him covered by far. However, as I am thinking about the call he blirts out, shout I made a mistake I didn't mean to push. This happened earlier in the day where someone did really do it by accident. That made me think a bit but not enough to smell a rat. I call the cards flip he has A-J for the straight vs my set of tens. Realizing I had 12 outs I wasn't completely dead, rivered a two. I decided that was enough electronic poker for a while. Now it was time for play with real cards and chips.

Made a swing into the MGM, Luxor and Mandalay Bay rooms. Played some 1/2 no-limit maybe two hours at each casino. No real memoriable hands, just meet a lot of locals that taught me some lessons when I overplayed a mediacore hand. Overall was down maybe $50 after being up at one point $400. After six hours in three different rooms I decided to go get something to eat. I didn't play anymore that day.

On November 3rd, I go to register for the "freeroll" tourney at Excalibur. I was soon made aware of the fact that it no longer exsisted. So I paid 20 to play in there first pay tourney. As I waited to play in the tourney, I sat down at the .50/1 no-limit. On the fourth hand around the table froze up during the pre-flop bets. The table was down for 45 minutes before play was restored. According to the staff this was only the fifth times this ever occured (I'm sure). We complained about no comps or nothing. Eventually everyone at the table got 8 dollars in food vouchers. BY the time the table was restored it was tourney time. With only 3000 in chips and blinds raising every fifteen minutes it becomes a pushing match by the fourth level. I busted out in the middle with pocket sevens. I pushed and was called with A-4 off. Flopp comes out 4-4-6. Turn and river were both blanks I was done.

I will post my last day later, this posting will have a rather interesting hand I will be seeking advise on....
