Summary: My wife losing my poker winnings faster than I can make them

Content: I played in so many poker rooms this trip. I will try to remember key notes and hands as I go along

1. Ballys. As stated in a previous report I felted a WSOP ladies event winner here. Played several times including making the worst mistake of my trip. I was in seat 10 and got up and moved to seat 7 when it opened. They sat a guy into it as soon as I got up he posted and flopped a str8 flush and banking 500 bucks or so from the high hand. For those that may be interested Ballys no longer offers a bad beat jackpot only high hands. I really think and I would like to see an investigation into it but these casinos are skimming off of these jackpots. I played over 400 hands at Ballys by my best guess but I dont think the jackpots went up 400 bucks across the board the next day. That is just my table. I played a session at ballys for about 13 hours one day. I really dont like ballys room as it is noisy, reaks of smoke, distracting, and I feel like the ladies bringing drinks are my great grandma. However I feel this is one of the softer games in town on the strip. I was up here close to 1k over my trip and played several days here.

Bellagio
Had a short session at Bellagio and it was just to tight for me. Drink service was good girls were hot dealers ok nothing to write home about as far as skill. Cool seeing the room with the pros playing I think 2 and 4k blinds but never was comfortable due to spacing with the tables.

Caesars Palace.
Played the deepstack and was busted 3 spots from cashing when my set of 8's on a flop ran into a set of 10's on the flop. I was about average in chips when the chip leader at teh table and I got into it. Love the room again Grandma serving drinks but I like the variety of drinks offered laoded and unleaded. Cash games were average here. never felt like I was being outplayed. Played about 4 hrs of cash games here and up 70 bucks

Excalibur
one morning got up to go and play cash games waited 45 minutes for a seat played one hand and the table broker for the tourney when 7 cash players went and played it with no list. They should have told me that was going to happen before I wiated 45 minutes I did win the blinds on this 1 hand though :)

Flamingo
Dont care for the room for the same reason I dont like ballys but the games are somewhat soft. Best time to play I found is from 8am to about noon as every time incluidinf this trip seems people want to give chips away before going to the airport here. Not sure the tourists that play here take it that serious. Quick to get seated my be another reason for the last minute players. Was up about 80 bucks in 3 hours here

IP
Hate the room it is worse than ballys and flamingo as far as smoke noise etc. I won a monster pot off of a young euro here after I got him tilting. There were 6 guys here all on a trip from overseas running there mouths in english about the us dollar economy etc in english then when teh hands started they went to what I believe to be dutch or sweedish but not sure. The one thing I do know is teh dealer GRAYGOR didnt stop it and let it run. I said something he did nothing and then got the floor involved who did stop it. Guy got pissed started rasing every pot 50 bucks pre flop and if someone called he pushed on the flop no matter what. he had about 600 behind. I had 459 bucks Nice see AA after the 8th hand of this he I limp he raises I call he pushes on the flop and I call with my set of A;s to his 9 4 off. He makes some comment about the us dollar and it not mattering and I said dollar may be weak but not as weak as your poker game. racked his chips to applause from the 3 other americans at the table and left up $718

MGM covered earlier wont play here again
Mirage only played here 30 minutes didnt like my table and left. 10 dollar preflop raise had folks folding left down 13 bucks

Monte Carlo
Played here one morning only. Delaers plyers etc friendly as always. This is a classy small room. Got felted on my first hand when my KK ran into QQ who flopped a set. Built my stack back close to even and left down 38 bucks. great room for beginners to get their feet wet

Paris appears to be going to a tourney room only. Never even saw a cash game or tourney going on so unsure

Broke my promise to never play in this room again becasue my wife wanted to play slots so I palyed ehre about 3 hrs one night and 2 hrs the next night. First night I left up 180 bucks second night I got felted after building my stack close to 1k. Stupid stupid me. Bought in 300 had close to 1k after doubling up through some english/irish chick who had at least 3k-4k and winning a few other pots. Hit ehr with a set of 3's vs AK and tried to bully me out when next highest card was a 5 on the flop. Well later that night around 1k and pocket 10's with a riase and a call in fron of 25. I bump it to 60 1 caller guy to me right. Flop comes 10 5 5 he checks I bet 150 he raises to 400 and I push. he had showed a wide calling range and A 5 was a possible call as well as A 10 for him. Felt he was trying to steal and and I knew I had the top boat which I did proble was he had Quads. he had me covered by 3 bucks. game was soft here and very aggressive which I like so I can trap. down 180 here over the two nights I played. Seating was a bit slow both nights and my wife had to bring me an IV to rehydrate me becassue drink service was non existant. My advice to this room would be to keep a small fridge in the room with water for players if your drink service is going to be that crappy as it has been every time

Checked here a couple times never found a game going though it was in the AM when I was checking
