Trip Report Caesars Mega Stack Tourney Date: 06/15/08 Player: gout111 For Rooms: Caesars Palace, Summary: 8th place finish in mega stacks Content: $235 buy-in started with 7500 in chips 50 min levels Won a 65 at 9am at Excalibur to enter Caesars 12pm level ante sb bb my chip stack players left 1 25 50 8600 320 2 50 100 16275 225 3 100 200 16300 195 4 200 400 21500 177 5 300 600 19500 6 400 800 32200 109 7 100 600 1200 40000 8 200 800 1600 64600 53 9 300 1000 2000 60000 10 400 1500 3000 56000 32 11 500 2000 4000 42500 25 12 500 3000 6000 49000 16 13 1000 4000 8000 155000 11 14 1000 6000 12000 125000 10 Final table started with 10 players 15 2000 8000 16000 125000 8 I made a donkey play that put me out -solid player raised my bb to 40000 I look down to AK pushed solid player has KK ouch -hey haw and I am out I was hoping he had QQ or less and would lay down bad play - learned alot only complaint- three tables went to two (had to redraw for new seat) - had to go thru four straight blinds at 4000-8000 -cost me 24000plus antes - no way this is fair -hurt my chances to win tourney. all in all Caesars does a great job hosting - beautiful room great tournament didn't like to redraw for new table - it's just a luck factor on the redraw - worked to hard for 14 hours to get messed over.the guy 2 to my left went 18 hands without having to post a blind ?????????????? how is this fair? Caesars really needs to look at this. Sorry just had to vent a little. |
