I stayed at TI with my brother while two friends had a room at the Excalibur. The TI was much cleaner and seemed to be much better maintained of the two. We played tournaments at Planet Hollywood, MGM Grand and TI. The MGM had the slowest waitresses and most of the dealers gave you the feeling they would rather be somewhere else. The dealers at the TI and Planet Hollywood seemed to enjoy their work and had a home game feel. The waitresses were not strangers and did not disappear for long periods of time like they did at the MGM. We spent one night at the Golden Nugget playing cash games and liked the poker room a lot. If a GREAT steak is in your plans do not miss Austins Steakhouse at the Texas Station Casino. Come hungry and believe them when they say the sides are for 2. This is not a strip mall steakhouse you will not be disappointed. |
