Trip Report annual Vegas trip 12/12-12/17 Date: 12/26/07 Player: trip4f For Rooms: Gold Coast,Monte Carlo, Summary: made a little, and had a good time. Content: Arrived Vegas 12/12 with a group of friends for the National Finals Rodeo. Stayed at the Gold Coast as my VERY frugal wife got us fantastic room rates. No poker wed. as we played tour guides that afternoon before seeing Rodney Carrington at the MGM that nite. Seats were on the front row and we had a great time. If you get the chance go see Rodney, he's a riot. More tourist stuff Thursday. Thursday nite got in a 2/4 game at the Gold Coast. Lots of no foldem holdem. Played fairly tight for about 4 hrs. Up $121. No more poker till Friday nite. 2/4 at the GC. I thought I could beat this game and still swill Crown and Coke. NOT!!! Bought in for $100 was down to $7. Tighened up and cashed out $65. Not bad for a drunk. No more poker till Sunday after everyone else left. Played 2/4 at the Monte Carlo. Card dead most of the session and only down $15. For me good trip,had a blast and can't wait to get back. No more tour guide next time and will play some tourneys next time. |
