The Mandalay Bay Poker Room has been open since the resort debuted in 1999 and offers 10 tables of Texas Hold'em poker of the No Limit and occasional Limit variety. Situated alongside one of the main casino thoroughfares and directly adjacent to the Race and Sports Book, the Mandalay Bay Poker Room fits well well within the resort and is one of the longer established poker rooms in Las Vegas.
Managed since opening by Kay White, the Mandalay Bay Poker Room is welcoming of all players, novices and professionals. They offer a wide variety of jackpot bonuses for making high hands and other special promotions as well as consistent action in their 1/2 No Limit games. Lists are tracked electronically using the Genesis Bravo List Management software.
The Mandalay Bay Poker Room is directly adjacent to a deli for quick food bites, and food can be eaten tableside. Cocktail service offers sodas, most call drinks, and energy drinks for players. The comp rate is $1 per hour which is tracked on an index card at the brush desk.

The room was clean and in good shape. The tables were nice but seemed a bit long, so seats 3 and 7 were pretty far away to read the board. Chairs were so-so but they have a closet stuffed with extra cushions, so that helped.... Read more »

The physical condition of this room is just average, especially for MB being a "higher end" property. I played at a table with Auto-Shuffle so that moved things along. The chairs are pretty standard an investment here would move this room up to good.

the poker room here is nice, but I agree with other reviewers - tables are a little old, chairs aren't that great, etc...however, the resort it's located in is about the best for non-smokers (you know what I'm talking about)...at some casino's I feel like I'm losing months off my life from all the 2nd hand smoke, but the ventilation and high ceilings at the Mandalay Bay make for a very pleasant pl... I like the rooms that are in the mix of the casino, not tucked away. So when your not in the hand your can people watch or bird dog girls going to the club. The PH poker room and the mgm give you nice views from the tables. Every poker room needs a private close bathroom!... Read more »
