| Red Rock Poker Room Description |
|
The Red Rock Poker Room opened in 2006 along with the rest of the Summerlin Las Vegas resort and offers 20 tables of action in a variety of limits. Managed by long term poker veteran Mike Doe, the Red Rock Poker Room is the second largest of the Station's Casinos in Las Vegas and the only room of it's size located in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas.
Aesthetically, the Red Rock Poker Room has dark wood veneers that compliment the gunmetal lighting fixtures and tan leather chairs. All chairs are adjustable swivel chairs (with adjustable backs), and the tables all have thick armrests and cup holders. Side tables are also available, as is a coffee and water bar. Also, Red Rock was the first poker room in Las Vegas to offer restrooms in the poker room itself, a rare amenity for poker players.
The technology of the poker room is on par with all other Stations rooms in that it utilizes the Genesis Bravo player tracking system that tracks comps at the table. The list management system is electronic, and players can sign up for the games through the self service kiosk located outside of the poker room or in the poker room with the staff.
The games most commonly spread are 1/2NLHE, 2/5NLHE, 2/4LHE, 4/8LHE, and 4/8 Omaha 8 are the most common daily offerings. The room also offers daily tournaments that include No Limit Texas Hold'em as well as Omaha High Low.
The cocktail service and comps offered at the Red Rock Poker Room are competitive within the industry. Players earn $1 an hour comps on the Stations Boarding Pass Card from 9AM to 3AM and $3 an hour comps from 3AM to 9AM every day.

Great Visit again
By: Amphi1966 Date: 08/15/10

This is a beautiful poker room. I enjoy playing at this casino. The air conditioning is a bit on the cool side in the front, but warmer in the back. I had a broken chair for awhile, but switched it out. They can be adjusted and are on wheels. I like the handy coffee pot right in the room and the close bathrooms.... Read more »

Action available
By: TheCaptain Date: 07/25/09

A lot of action (and by action I mean literal action at the table along with a general hubbub within the room) on weekend, predictably more sedate and less ram-and-jam during the week and during the day. Overall, a pretty well kept room, nice accoutrements, qualified staff, list well-managed, managers approachable, dealers solid. One of the better off strip rooms and definitely the only real place...
