The Treasure Island (TI) Poker Room opened in April of 2006, and offers 8 tables replete with automatic shufflers and the Genesis Bravo system that tracks all players comps directly at the table using the Treasure Island TI Players Card. The room is technologically advanced, utilizing modern poker tracking technology to track the waiting lists and the players earned hourly comps. The electronic list can be viewed from the TI hotel rooms as well, so players can monitor their list progression on the screen while waiting in their room. Managed by Troy Horning, the TI Poker Room is popular with all player types and offers a 1/3NLHE game with a $500 maximum buy in as well as a 2/4LHE game with a $20 minimum buy in.
Aesthetically, the TI poker room is modern and intimate. The soft lighting compliments the orange and dark wood veneers, and is further aligned with the current theme of the casino through the use of modern abstract wood and paintings adorning the walls. The room offers plasma televisions on all walls, and the sound is available for those wanting to catch up on current sporting events. The location of the poker room puts it only a few feet from the self parking garage escalator, and close to the Mystere Theatre. In early 2011 the TI poker room was updated with brand new swivel adjustable chairs on caster wheels for ease of movement throughout the room.
The cocktail service of the TI Poker Room includes most to all call drinks as well as full size Perrier bottles and a variety of frozen drinks and juices. Also, tableside food delivery is available in the poker room and can be paid for with TI Poker Room comps, earned on their card.
The comps at the Treasure Island Poker Room include a flat $2 per hour that accumulates on the TI Poker Room card. These comps can be used to dine in any food establishment on the property.
The TI Poker Room also offers a weekly freeroll with a $2,500 prize pool. Players who play at least 10 hours a week will earn a seat in the freeroll, which plays out on Sundays. In addition to this promotion, TI offers a cash wheel that players get to spin for every 25 hours of live jackpot eligible cash games.

TI Poker Room was just what the pictures show--8 tables in it's own room with televisions on the wall. It's a little dark, but otherwise a comfortable atmosphere. The room was clean. My only complaint is the location in the casino. It is in the corridor between the casino floor and the parking garage where there are some shops.
