Another Small McRoom
By: Grange95 Date: 02/12/13

Typical small Vegas Strip poker room. Kind of dark. Decent location. Tables were nice, chairs marginally acceptable. Nothing to really set it apart from any other small Vegas poker room.... Read more »

Horrible location for a poker "room"
By: jbage007 Date: 07/06/12

Ok, so whose brilliant idea was this, to put the poker room adjacent to all of the noisy slot machines at the end of the busy walkway toward the bridgeway to Excalibur? Talk about noisy! I'm still hearing "Wheel of Fortune" scream out to me in my dreams!
Since my last visit years ago, they have at least redone the place with new carpet, new chairs (that are NOT adjustable) etc., so the place ... Read more »

By: Robbydog Date: 01/21/12

Room has Definition... Easily Recognized... Can see the Big POKER Sign across the Casino when coming down the escalators from Mandalay Bay... And people walk right by when walking in from Excalibur. Clean Tables & Chip, etc. 10-MAN TABLES... Mean more free hands for you blind money & less chances of games breaking up... Added BRAVO System recently. Overall in Top Shape !!!... Read more »

Tuesday Night Visit
By: unfriendlyskies Date: 03/23/11

Meh...definitely a couple steps down from MGM and several steps down from Bellagio/Venetian/etc. It's fine, just fine, but there's nothing special or notable about it. No electronic waitlist or comps, but with only one 1/2NLHE and one 2/4LHE game running, plus the tournament, you don't need that stuff do you?... Read more »

Good-bye LUXOR
By: pokerpro Date: 09/02/10

The room looks nice but what difference does that make? There wasn't anyone there. What's up with all the Bruce Buffer stuff. I have never even seen him play in the room. The vibe was horrible, the dealers stood around drinking their sodas and complaining about everything and everyone. I thought I heard some comments about management. I can understand that they have made some changes that are not ... Read more »
