FANTASTIC 1 - 2 No Limit MONEY MAKING ROOM... (Wonderful Promotion)...
By: Robbydog Date: 01/21/12

Room has Definition... Easily Recognized... Can see the Big POKER Sign across the Casino when coming down the escalators from Mandalay Bay... And people walk right by when walking in from Excalibur. Clean Tables & Chip, etc. 10-MAN TABLES... Mean more free hands for you blind money & less chances of games breaking up... Added BRAVO System recently. Overall in Top Shape !!!... Read more »

Tuesday Night Visit
By: unfriendlyskies Date: 03/23/11

Meh...definitely a couple steps down from MGM and several steps down from Bellagio/Venetian/etc. It's fine, just fine, but there's nothing special or notable about it. No electronic waitlist or comps, but with only one 1/2NLHE and one 2/4LHE game running, plus the tournament, you don't need that stuff do you?... Read more »

Good-bye LUXOR
By: pokerpro Date: 09/02/10

The room looks nice but what difference does that make? There wasn't anyone there. What's up with all the Bruce Buffer stuff. I have never even seen him play in the room. The vibe was horrible, the dealers stood around drinking their sodas and complaining about everything and everyone. I thought I heard some comments about management. I can understand that they have made some changes that are not ... Read more »

Great time at Luxor!
By: DarksideHeel Date: 01/05/10

My wife and I played NUMEROUS tournaments the week of Decemner 12th through the 17th of 2009. For many of the reasons others have posted they did not like the room, I did like Luxor's poker room. I liked less televisions because it was less distraction for me. I liked the comfort of the tables as well as the chairs. I also don't care for automatic shufflers, so that didn't bother me either.... Read more »

It's just a roped off area of the casino, not really a room. I didn't really mind, however... Read more »

Never again
By: sbatten Date: 05/19/09

The room was a little dingy, but it didn't bother me. I wasn't there for the ambiance. The TVs were small and not placed well, so half of the players couldn't watch whatever was on. There was not a great selection of games. Only 3-6 limit and 1-2 nl all weekend. I was there for 2-5 nl because I called ahead and they told me it's usually available on the weekends. They were running small tour... Read more »
