The Riv has changed a lot in over the last 5 years....

The "room" sits at the front of the casino on the floor near the Strip entrance. There are a few tables roped off from the surrounding slots. This is the 3rd spot it's moved to in recent memory and by far my least favorite. Chairs are still old/uncomfortable. ... Read more »

Wonder if it will be there next time
By: AustinBluffs Date: 11/25/11

Located in a roped off area near the front entrance. Average furnishings. Games don't seem to start until about 3 pm when the double hours for weekly freeroll qualification begins. Only one or two tables of 1/2 running. The casino seems dead and it made me wonder how long the Riv will still be around...... Read more »

Friendly staff and local burnouts
By: OJPOKER Date: 11/23/11

Poor location (casino and poker room in casino), OK tables...matches the decor of the casino...poor. Out of the way and no incentive to go there as games are not always being played. Freeroll is better than most as top 10 get $250 and only about 25 play in it.... Read more »

Not really worth going out of your way to play.

Not in a high traffic area. Liked it much better when it was near casino cashier. Loud, bad music from nearby lounge. Chairs not very comfortable.... Read more »

The room is next to the sports book and I was able to watch the games right from he table. At around 9pm the passion pit girls started gogo dancing witch made the experience excellent.... Read more »

Nice soft, friendly game. Easy money.
By: Spankenstein Date: 04/01/10

Chairs are old and uncomfortable but they have pads if you know to ask. The room is more of an area than a room, but that does help to attract hotel guests and people passing by. Parking in self park is a really long way, but if you valet, it is not bad at all. ... Read more »

Worst Room In LV
By: Whitey5150 Date: 03/02/09

The "room" is nothing more than a small area with rails around it near the elevators. While playing with a full table the room closed at 2 a.m. on a Saturday night. ... Read more »

Only there to make money
By: GoBluePaul Date: 08/24/08

The room itself just isn't up to par with the other rooms on the strip. Tables were okay as well as the chairs. Wasn't a fan of players being able to move 10 feet and smoke. What's the point of having a smoke free poker room.... Read more »

Great Time in a
By: justvisiting Date: 04/14/08

Small room, clean, comfortable attractive. Great vibe although I only played there once at about 6:00 am on Saturday(the day we had to leave). Wish I had found the it sooner and will definately play there next trip. Because I was there so early it would be hard to judge noise level from the casino but there must be some since the room is only seperated with a low wall. A big plus for location is ... Read more »
