| MGM Grand Poker Room Description |
|
The MGM Grand Poker Room is one of the busiest rooms on the south side of the Las Vegas Strip and offers 22 tables of No Limit and Limit Hold'em action. Housing nearly 7,000 hotel rooms and suites, the MGM Grand is the second largest hotel in world (second only to Venetian), and houses a casino that exceeds 150,000 square feet. The poker room is located on the south side of the resort, adjacent to the Race and Sports Book, and the Rainforest Café, it shares a common wall with a popular lounge called Centrifuge, which brings a significant amount of ambiance and atmosphere to the venue.
The MGM Grand Poker Room has a dedicated poker room cashier cage in addition to a brush desk where the lists are maintained.
The black upholstered chairs of the MGM Grand Poker Room match the resort and the overall style of the room itself, with its black and darn brown color palettes. Regarding layout, the restrooms are located nearby and a complimentary valet service is offered to players to ease the walk time from valet parking to the room itself. The room is divided between No Limit and Limit games and met in the middle by the dedicated cashier cage.
The MGM Poker Room offers Coca Cola products as well as most call drinks, energy drinks, and fruit juices. Tableside food delivery is offered 24 hours a day and can be paid for with accumulated comps on their M Life card.
Comps are tracked electronically at the table. Players earn $1 per hour comps on their M Life card which can be redeemed for payment at nearly every food establishment in the MGM Grand Resort.

Great low limit NL poker
By: rlloydevans Date: 02/07/13

The poorest quality - with all of the construction there is a lot of "make do until the construction is over" going on. Players and staff wil be happy when the new nightclub construction is over.... Read more »

MGM Grand
By: JohnnyBlack76 Date: 01/02/13

This is a review that I've needed to do for quite some time. I've been playing at the MGM Grand's poker room since it opened roughly 8 years ago twice a year on my visits from London.
Recently was there in December, it was in it's temp location but moved back to it's original home near to the strip entrance.
The room is, well roomy comfortable seats, tables in great condition. ... Read more »

One of my favorites
By: chuckb Date: 07/12/12

The poker room was moved because of construction noise, so this was a temporary setup about 100 feet away. Will be happy when it moves back, but it wasn\'t bad. Chairs are comfortable, people are generally friendly, lots of table conversation.... Read more »

Get the construction done quickly....
By: Clem2754 Date: 07/07/12

Room was good, but I like the other location much more. The room wasn't getting the normal traffic. Fewer 1-2 NL games, and only one 2-5NL game, which is what I played. Tables are still nice, but the location is the issue. I am rating the current location a 3. The old location was a 4 or possibly a 5.... Read more »

1-2 and 2-5 NL at MGM
By: wstoftime Date: 06/10/12

The MGM poker room is still in a temporary location due to construction. It had all the necessary amenities including televisions, comfortable chairs, and food and beverage services. Nevertheless, it had a temporary feel and there was lots of construction nearby that was a distraction.... Read more »

All good. Just far enough away from the casino to calm some of that noise and right next to the sportsbook - great to visit during breaks from the table. ... Read more »
