Boulder Station Poker Room Description

The Boulder Station Poker Room is one of the busiest Off Strip rooms, and one of only two poker rooms left in Las Vegas that allows cigarette smoking at the table (3 tables in the back, the rest are non smoking tables). The 11 table room is very popular with smokers and non smokers due to its offering of the rare 4/8 Omaha High game, with a half kill. This game is the most popular game in the room, often spreading on 4 full tables or more. The room also spreads Limit Hold'em of the 2/4 and 4/8 variety as well as No Limit Hold'em.

The room is located near the main valet, close to self parking as well as the restrooms and the Race & Sports book, and offers frequent cocktail service and tableside food delivery.

As with all Station's Casinos, the Boulder Station Poker Room awards players $1 per hour on their Boarding Pass Card from 9AM to 3AM and $3 an hour from 3AM to 9AM. These comps can be used at any Stations property.

The Boulder Station Poker Room utilizes the Genesis Bravo poker room management system for wait list tracking and for managing player comps. All tables are equipped with automatic shufflers and have cup holders in the armrests. Ashtrays are readily available, and there is a water cooler and coffee machine in the room for players' convenience.

the smoking that is allowed to go on here is criminal.as with all casinos.the stench of sickness is all over the room.just look at the players.and the poor dealers that have to work in there.to bad.their lives are cut short.i heard of 2 dealers who had heart attacks and 1 had a stroke within 6 months... The main reason I give this room such a low rating is that fact that it is a smoking room. I could only stand it for about 30 minutes before I had to leave. The felt on the tables was well worn. Chairs were ok.... Read more »

Alright, so the room isn't great BUT it certainly has several things about it that seperate it overall to make up for it. Unfortunately, smoking still rules this room except for two tables (One omaha and one Hold em) which are located right next to smoking tables. No other Station casinos, and most strip casinos have Omaha anymore. It either died out or chilled due to the upcoming WSOP. Only Orleans had Omaha consistently. Boulder guaranteed 3 tables (with a waiting list). TRICK: Call ahead, they will put you on the waiting list on the phone. Reduces your wait time when you arrive!
