Ballys Room Review--One of the best comps in Las Vegas.

Still no poker "room" at Ballys

I was hoping for more after the big change, but all I got was an even smokier place that still is not a poker room. All they have done is basically to put a rope up around a very smoky part of the casino that is hidden away from most foot traffic. What's the point? Either build a room or don't, but please Caesaers, stop roping off smoky areas and trying to pawn it off as a poker room.... Read more »

Not the loose gem I remember from 2009 and 2010

I thought the room was average at best. The tables were seated 10 handed and chairs were poor. The location doesn't seem to attract the pit gamblers like the old location did. It felt like a place to play poker if you are there to play poker. The wall and offset location seems to keep novice players away. The days and times I played may more to do with that, but it did not seem inviting to someone... Read more »

Bally's Room Review

It has been a few months since Bally's moved their poker room from the main casino to the currently location, which is near Nosh. The room is nice and more quiet than it was before. It is very near to the restroom, Nosh (a sandwich shop), ATM machines (hahaha!), and a bar, which makes it faster to get your drink. The room is much nicer now that it has been moved. More tables, closer to restroom and food if you need a snack. Didn\'t notice it being as smokey as the old location.... Read more »

Banished to the Outskirts

The former location did have it\'s issues, smoke, noise, etc but being in the middle of the casino also brought easy impulse players, drinkers from the bar, and overall loose play. The new location near the south tower pretty much eliminates all the above. The result, a slow, low action, high rake room which has lost all former character. Stayed at Ballys for 2 weekdays, room slow at all times.... Read more »

Smokey and super noisey

Super smokey and noisy room (non-stop laud stupid dance music). Good tables and chairs. I played there because people told me about easy drunk money, but I didn\'t find those drunk tourists. All I got was a horrible headache from smokers around, $37 winnings and a nasty flu/ cough next day that I got from a sweet woman-dealer who was brutally coughing every 30 seconds.
