Plaza Player Room Review Midnight Madness Tourney 12/25/05, Player: hjgjaxson Total Rating: 3.45 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: I love the Plaza poker room. It's not really a room - just an open area near the craps tables - but at mid-night the talbes are usually pretty quiet and it's a great place to play. Competition Rating: 2 Competition Description: Lot's of locals, dealers getting off work and various other 'slightly shady' characters as well as a few tourists usually make up the 30-50 people in the tourney. While there's some loose play before the re-buy ($70 buy-in/$30 rebuy for same $1,500 chips) - most players are pretty good. Dealer Rating: 4 Dealer Description: there are a few weak dealers - but most are very good, knowledgeable and run a good game Cocktail Rating: 3 Cocktail Description: -2 looks, but usually you can get a waitress and she will get your drink fairly fast. After about 1am - it gets harder to get service - but ask the floor and they will call someone over. Management Rating: 4 Management Description: They really run a good, no hassle, not problem tournament. The floor staff knows what they are doing. Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: I've played cash games here too and usually get $5-7 for a few hours of play. Nothing on tourneys Back to Plaza Room Review |
