Room Quality: 4 Although the room is small, there are always 2/4 limit and 1/2 NL games going. Other games are spread based on demand. Luxor features multiple freeze out tournaments with low buy ins. The room is in a central location and has a very relaxed feel. They also offer jhackpots ($20, $50, and $100) for quads or better. |
Competition: 4 Luxor features some of the softest games in either Las Vegas or Atlantic City. I have rarely sat at a table with more than 2 other good players. |
Dealers: 1 Dealers are very competent, friendly, and knowledgable. Mistakes are quite rare, and I find the same dealers working visit after visit, which is a good sign. |
Cocktails: 5 Waitresses are friendly and very quick. Premium drinks are available. Quick service is helped by the room's location adjacent to Nefertiti's Lounge, where the service bar is located. |
Management: 5 Management is very good and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table. |
Comps & Bonuses: 3 Comps are so-so, but that is to be expected for a low limit player like me. The attractive room rates for players offset the comp levels. |
