Stardust Player Room Review Surprisingly Enjoyable 09/07/05, Player: kismet Total Rating: 3.80 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: The room was nothing fancy, just an area just off the sports book area and the slots. I enjoyed played here more than I had thought I would. I played on three separate days, twice in the afternoon and once in the evening and had a good time every time. The room has a friendly vibe. The management was friendly, the tourists were yucking it up, and even the local seniors (a fair number) were friendly and relaxed. To me that's half the battle. If the company is good and there to have fun, whatever else happens is ok with me. Competition Rating: 5 Competition Description: Loose play by tourists and locals alike. Often 6 or 7 or more to a flop, even with a raise. Not a whole lot of folding even with dismal holdings unless someone raised the flop or turn. That seemed to clear out the crowds. A few gamblers raising blind and going to war through the river livened up the game during the evening. Dealer Rating: 4 Dealer Description: I enjoyed the dealers. Most were ancient characters, but they knew what they were doing and kept the game moving. Cocktail Rating: 2 Cocktail Description: The waitresses were a little slow and tended to disappear for a while on occasion. Management Rating: 4 Management Description: Friendly and competent.
