Room Quality: 4 I like the Excalibur. It's a friendly room. I believe the other MGM properties are 9 handed for their poker games, while the Excalibur was still 10 handed in mid January. It's not a fancy room, but you are isolated from the casino. It's close to the sports betting, and is in a good location. It is still one of my favourite places to play in Vegas. I was playing the 1-2NL game. On the weekend, there were 2 games going, with a list. |

Competition: 4 Played a few sessions. Excalibur is "loose" with some rules, which makes the room appeal to newer players. I have been at some tables with most players new to the game, and other times, I was with 5 or 6 solid players. Generally, the games here were easier than the MGM Grand. |

Dealers: 3 I didn't appreciate some of the dealers talking about hands, and the board while play was going on. This happened with "newer" players at the table. Same dealers that have been at the Excalibur for years, which is neither positive or negative. |

Cocktails: 4 Servers were friendlier than my previous trips. |

Management: 4 Management was friendly, and answered my questions. Everything was under control. |

Comps & Bonuses: 4 $1 per hour, which is standard fro MGM properties. |
