Room Quality: 1 The room looks nice but what difference does that make? There wasn't anyone there. What's up with all the Bruce Buffer stuff. I have never even seen him play in the room. The vibe was horrible, the dealers stood around drinking their sodas and complaining about everything and everyone. I thought I heard some comments about management. I can understand that they have made some changes that are not for the better. |

Competition: 1 Don't know what to put here. I didn't play because they only had a 4 handed game. I came in to play a tournament but the "limp dishrag" on dayshift did not get enough people signed up. What's up with that? I used to love to play the tournaments on day shift. You could play them from 10:30 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon. But as far as I can tell tournaments have just vanished from the Luxor. Won't bother to make the trip anymore because 2x have come into play a 2pm tournament and nobody was registered. Found out that is the more often the case with all of the touraments now. The people in charge of the tournaments now are NOT doing their job!!! |

Dealers: 2 I played at the Luxor because of a few dealers. The good ones with the best personalities are few and far between. Don and Frank are my favorites. They run their games well and are very friendly. Then you have your rude, incompetent dealers like the old woman on days with the weird name and the rude Asian lady at night. They are both extremely rude and I even saw the old lady slap a players hand for trying to make change from their blind. For the most part the dealers are some of the worst in the city. Jeff on days is also good unless you don't tip him and then he slows down horribly. |

Cocktails: 1 Like to play on days but the waitress with the long reddish hair might be the worst cocktail server on the strip. You always have to ask the dealer to call for cocktails and even then it takes 5 minutes or more. She never comes and gets an order without being called. I guess she is just old and lazy. |

Management: 1 I give management a 1 now because of the changes that have been made. They have 2 new guys that are just unbelieveable. The guy during the day has no personality or one of a "limp dishrag" and the guy at night thinks he invented poker and yet he could not even get a tournament going. what happened to the old managers? They were fun, friendly and competent. Ray was a blast and Sharon was always so friendly. These new guys are from another planet. I was happy to see some of the floorpeople are the same but I must say the new recruits are terrible. |

Comps & Bonuses: 1 I didn't even bother to ask for one and of course the new guys didn't offer. The old managers always had a comp for me, of course I played longer then because they had games going. So long Luxor it was nice for awhile!! |
