Room Quality: 4 The room seems to attract a mix of locals and the Socal tourists that prefer the M to going down to the Strip. Lots of Palm Springs types. I used to be a regular at the South Point and spent time at GVR and Red Rock and noticed many players from those places now making the M their home casino. I can see why. Great, well lit room. very comfy chairs, nice atmosphere and plenty of amenities near the room. |

Competition: 3 I found the room to be fairly average as far as competition in the locals casinos goes. Some of the old timers are rocks and some of the young kids are wild so it really is a matter of picking your targets. If competition is key and you are visiting Vegas I would suggest going to the Strip for easier competition but if you like a mix of player types then this is a good place to play. Having said all that, the games can get really loose, really fast. So be warned. Especially at $1/2NL where a lot of the frustrated sports bettors hangout. They will push a lot of chips. |

Dealers: 3 Dealers seemed average to slightly above. Most that I encountered I recognized from other properties so the experience level is fairly high. |

Cocktails: 3 Professional and competent. Not an excessive amount of coverage so you may have to wait a bit longer if there are 4-5 tournament tables in play but all-in-all, typical for a poker room in the city. |

Management: 4 I was impressed that the floor manager came over to speak to me after my session, listened to my comments and made a point of inviting me back. Typically you may get a "Have a nice day" but it was nice to be acknowledged in such a way. |

Comps & Bonuses: 1 They have a promotion where you win something on the order of $1500 if you have a pocket pair and flop quads. They also have a standard high hand jackpot which I've always liked. |
