South Point Player Room Review Great management and lots of action for a local's room 06/30/09, Player: socalvegasmk Total Rating: 4.20 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: Nothing special about the room, but the tables are spaced out very well making it comfortable to play. Also, with the TV's and its proximity right next to the sports book, the South Point poker room is very sports friendly. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: Very unusual for a "locals" casino in that the competition is very similar to that on the strip. The player's are loose and the pots big. Dealer Rating: 4 Dealer Description: Very friendly and personable. Many of the dealers play poker themselves and are thus able to control the game and enforce rules effectively. Cocktail Rating: 5 Cocktail Description: Simply the best looking waitresses in Vegas. Management Rating: 5 Management Description: I don't understand the previous review that rated the management as incompetent. I do not know any regulars who play at the South Point who would share this opinion. This is especially the case during the grave where Perry is easily one of the best floors in town. Comps Rating: 4 Comps Description: Only reason they don't get a 5 is the use of paper comps. Back to South Point Room Review |
