Excalibur (Electronic) Player Room Review New tables are good, mgmt needs improvement 10/14/08, Player: BellyBuster Total Rating: 3.70 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: Not the nicest room on the Strip, but it was comfortable enough. The electronic tables gave it a different kind of vibe. Some people didn't like it much, I did. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: I am not a great NL player, but the .50/1.00 game was pretty easy and attracted a lot of inexperienced players. A friend who was with me was uncomfortable playing at other rooms with dealers and chips, but really enjoyed the tables here. A couple other players made similar comments while I was there. Dealer Rating: 5 Dealer Description: No mistakes, nobody acted out of turn, pots were split correctly, pot was always shipped to the correct person- and I didn't even have to tip! Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: I played three sessions here and always got good service. They're not lookers, but they get your drinks right. Management Rating: 3 Management Description: Management varied from competent and friendly to neither. Despite the electronic log-in to get on a list, people were still cutting the line and just sitting down. They need to get a better handle on that. I also had a hard time getting someone to explain the football promo to me. On the other hand, I will single out Rosie as being friendly, funny, and helpful to new players. Comps Rating: 2 Comps Description: I asked about comps and was told if I wanted comps, go play table games. They do have a wheel to spin for high hands though, so I'll bump them from a 1 to a 2 for that. Back to Excalibur (Electronic) Room Review |
