South Point Player Room Review Decent off-strip room 04/11/08, Player: oksooners Total Rating: 3.15 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: Would give it a 3.5 Its more of a "poker area" than a room, but its very spacious. Very easy to move around. I think 11 or 12 tables. Sometimes the piano bar was too loud, but over a good room. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: Some of the softest 1-2 I have seen. Local rocks and dumb tourists. Check raise rocks and let tourists bet their bottom pair into your set. Pretty profitable. wish they had a 2-5nl. Dealer Rating: 3 Dealer Description: Very good ones and very bad ones and averages ones. Some had great personality and some had none. Standouts were Tyler, Rob, and Bobby I think. All 3 made the game fun. Of course there were bad dealers too. Overall decent dealers. Kept the game going and could handle the drunks well. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: Very prompt when the room wasnt busy, but sort of slow when it got busier. The outfits are amazing though! Management Rating: 2 Management Description: Floorman didnt seem too interested in his job and seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else. Condescending to come of the players. No computerized waiting list. Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: Didnt ask, but I think they have the average $1/hr card (i heard someone talking about it). Back to South Point Room Review |
