Paris Player Room Review Good room for sports fans 03/30/08, Player: Grange95 Total Rating: 3.95 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: Room is right next to the sports book, so players can watch/wager on sports. Also, gets traffic from the book. Not sure how busy it gets mid-week or late night; was closed at 3:00 a.m. on a Wednesday. I played late evening on a Saturday and they had two 1/2NL tables going, as well as the final table of a tourney. Otherwise, room quality is pretty similar to other mid-range smaller rooms on the Strip. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: Late evening table was lot of middle-aged guys, fairly tight play and smaller stacks. Not necessarily good players, but not many big pots. Dealer Rating: 4 Dealer Description: Solid, and friendly. Cocktail Rating: 5 Cocktail Description: Service was attentive and quick. Got good quality booze (e.g., Ketel One vodka) on request. Management Rating: 4 Management Description: Room was well-run, but then again, not particularly busy when I was there. Comps Rating: 4 Comps Description: Harrah's Total Rewards card for hourly comps, along with HHJs and I think they are part of the Harrah's MegaBeat jackpot. I actually hit a HHJ with quad Js and made ~$145 (they are progressive). Back to Paris Room Review |
