Planet Hollywood Player Room Review I left quite disgusted 03/14/08, Player: whoseywhat Total Rating: 2.80 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: The room was nice, and it was about the only thing I would compliment about the Poker Room. Although the tables were not equipped with autoshufflers, which you will see in my dealer rating was a problem at this room. Competition Rating: 5 Competition Description: I played at 2am against a table full of donkeys - all twenty-somethings having drank way too much. I benefitted from their stupid play. However, my brother got sucked out on twice, once with pocket aces and once with kings. The winning hands were 7-4 os and 8-3 os. This may have been the worst play I have ever seen. Dealer Rating: 1 Dealer Description: The dealer was horrible. She had 4 misdeals in the time I was sitting there, which was only about an hour. She shuffled some of the cards upside down and then dealt them out that way. It took a player telling her it was a misdeal for her to finally take the cards back and reshuffle. In my very first hand, I was the big blind. I posted a $5 chip, since I didn't have any $1 chips. She dealt the cards, and immediately tossed me my change. I went to move my chips back, and she swiped my cards up out of turn as if I had mucked them. This all happened in a second's time. The pot had not been raised, it was not my turn to act, and she distracted me by throwing my change at my hand when I was going to collect my cards. She called the floor manager over, and he sided with her. Cocktail Rating: 1 Cocktail Description: Not a single cocktail waitress came in the hour I was there. There was also no bar nearby that I could see. Management Rating: 1 Management Description: The management didn't seem to care about the players. Even when I went to cash out, the manager and an employee continued a non-work related conversation for several minutes before waiting on me. Comps Rating: 1 Comps Description: I didn't bother getting a players card. I won't be back. Back to Planet Hollywood Room Review |
