Bally's Player Room Review Mostly $3/$6 Limit 03/03/08, Player: GreenIsland Total Rating: 4.35 Room Quality Rating: 5 Room Quality Description: I spent a lot of time here playing $3/$6 limit since we were staying at Bally's. It's bordered with walls on two sides, table games on another side, and a bar on remaining side. There was never any wait for games and they usually had at least three $3/$6 limit tables going and the same number of $1-$2 NL games. Floor managers were quick to get you a seat & they are constantly announcing poker game opening over the casino PA. Occasional screams from the crap tables which never bothered me. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: There were a lot of terrible players at the limit tables. Plenty of flat callers and people who wouldn't raise with the nuts. An equal number of terrible players who bet/raised with bad cards and A-x unsuited. Usually 5-6 players/flop. Dealer Rating: 4 Dealer Description: I didn't see any screw ups and they don't mind language at the table unless you throw out the F-bomb or were antagonistic with your cursing. Not the best personalities, but they'd always remind you if drinks orders were being taken nearby. Cocktail Rating: 5 Cocktail Description: Unattractive, old waitresses who would announce the drink orders at the table like they were announcing death-notices..and theirs couldn't be that far off. On the positive, the bar is practically in the poker room, so drinks come quick and frequently...plus Fat Tire beer was stocked. Management Rating: 4 Management Description: No issues/concerns while I was there. Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: Harrah's property, I always forgot to clock in/out. Back to Bally's Room Review |
