Tropicana Player Room Review FRESH FISH SERVED HERE!!!!! 02/29/08, Player: nikluvshispu Total Rating: 3.25 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: The room looks a bit older. It's right by the bridge entrance that connects to the MGM. It's not luxurious, and it really doesn't need to be. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: This is the home of the drunk foreigners starting at around 10pm...especially on weekends. A lot of the players are tourists who come in adorned in thier favorite wsop gear and headphones that collapse thier heads. Not to mention thier sunglasses. Funny stuff! Most of these players are very easy to read,and very easy to bluff out of a huge pot. In cash games, I tend to walk out of there with at least 3 or 4 times what i put down. If you want easy money, then I HIGHLY suggest playing 1-2 NL there. Dealer Rating: 3 Dealer Description: Nothing too special here. At my most recent venture, one of the dealers started playing at our table with her uniform still on. I usually don't like that, but she was nice...and a donkey!!!! Cocktail Rating: 5 Cocktail Description: THe waitresses are VERY fast! They usually bring your order in less that 10 minutes, then take your order again right there! I get my water a lot faster and the drunks get more drunk faster. Management Rating: 5 Management Description: Not bad management at all. They are very friendly and seem always happy to see you. They even went as far as not giving us a rake since we were short handed on players! unheard of!!! of course, as the table filled up, the rake began. But still, good management! Comps Rating: 1 Comps Description: AS far as i know, there isn't any jackpot pools here, but if you are a good enough player you'll be just happy with all the cash you get out of the fish!!!
