South Point Player Room Review Super Bowl Weekend at SP 02/21/08, Player: Omnibot Total Rating: 3.65 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: Room was great, located next to the race/sports book. As mentioned in other posts it is below the movie theater so during the day you encounter the pleasant smell of popcorn which didn't bother me much. I didn't find it overly strong. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: This weekend may be different than most - I have a feeling that it's typically a lot of locals but SB brought in a lot of fools. If you go please submit a report of how it is on a non-holiday type weekend. Dealer Rating: 5 Dealer Description: No problems, they all were darn good, no flipped up cards in 3 days. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: Decent drink service, the waitresses here are actually pretty smoking and a nice rack must be a requirement! I thought they would be of B level quality but A+ - Management just needs to dedicate another 1 during busy times as each waitress got pretty frustrated at the poker room management. Management Rating: 1 Management Description: They sucked. If they could pull their heads of their rears long enough to take care of their players better that would be awesome. I get the feeling though that locals are treated pretty well. Comps Rating: 4 Comps Description: High hand jackpots - I pulled a royal for $327 bonus the lowest possible at the time unfortunately, Spades would have paid $2k+ - Didn't get a card and I regret it since we ended up playing there so much!
