Venetian Player Room Review Nice but no cigar (big room ?) 01/31/08, Player: vanloon Total Rating: 3.60 Room Quality Rating: 5 Room Quality Description: Great looking room but looked empty. I notice its on the list of BIG ROOMS but nowhere runs the same amount of games as Mirage *not on list* or Bellagio. Nice tables and I love the side tables and waiting area. Very uptight atmosphere and intimidating to the new player. Don't forget your CLUBWEAR or threepiece suit Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: PLayers are players.....hopefully more are drunker that the others. Everyone seems so serious here from the list attendant to the local hustler and phonies. Dealer Rating: 2 Dealer Description: I wasn't playing but did watch a game for a few minutes to notice a mistake from a dealer. Player caught it and the rest is down on Managment. One dealer can't speak for the entire staff but I hate seeing one incident overshadow the bigger picture. *cryptic* Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: HOT! Hot!! HOT !!! Management Rating: 1 Management Description: Bad decision while other players at the table(not in the hand) explained the situation(all ignored). Local player bias decision! Followed by statement, "Managments' descretion is final" Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: I heard it's the best in town. But I prefer the abundance of games and action at Mirage rather than this "BIG ROOM". If "big" refers to alot empty chairs and no games, this place is for you. Mirage is across the street.
