Bally's Player Room Review Nice play 01/24/08, Player: deudawg Total Rating: 3.95 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: Again, like everyone else....this is not a "room" but a roped off area. It's actually ok I believe during the day as the casino room noise doesn't really bother you too much. At night, when the house band kicks it up, you can get distracted. At one point, I had been drinking a little too much and had been playing a little too long, and the noise finally did me in. Competition Rating: 5 Competition Description: Fish everywhere. You can tell within a couple rounds at the table who the locals are and who you have to worry about. You'll also know who you can take money from. I actually talked with a lady who had brought her mom along for her her first poker game. She bought in for $100 when our table started, and I took all her money in one hand. I had A-10 and an A hit on the flop and the turn. She called all of her $100 off with pocket Jacks.....that one hurt. She took it well, though. Dealer Rating: 4 Dealer Description: Dealers very personable, chatted with an older lady that had retired as a paralegal for the Army. I'm a JAG attorney, so we had a lot to talk about. I didn't see one mistake by any of the dealers and the games I played in ran very smoothly. Cocktail Rating: 5 Cocktail Description: As everyone has said, right by the bar. If you're looking for eye candy in your waitress, this isn't the place, but these women get you your drink quick and have a great attitude. Management Rating: 5 Management Description: The management here is approachable and are there to please the players. I was well taken care of and didn't have to wait more than 10 mins for a game. 1 issue I did have is was during my last day when I entered their 11 AM tourney, they may not have had enough help there to run as many tables as they were running...however, they again were trying to accomodate as many players as they could.
