MGM Grand Player Room Review Nice to be Back 01/19/08, Player: IAPETE Total Rating: 3.75 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: I hadn't played here in a while and will add this room back to my list of places to play while in Vegas. The room was in good condition with a nice look and feel. Centrifuge Bar noise can be a little annoying. Railbirds can watch and be enticed to play. Tables are good although I'm still one that doesn't like the racetrack around the edges. Not a big deal. Play tracking right at the table is a plus. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: There were some rather tough players at my table, along with action junkies, and a beginner. I only played one session here so it's a little tough to judge. Dealer Rating: 3 Dealer Description: No serious mistakes. One dealer needed help with the winning hand once and another needed to be corrected on making change once. Pleasant enough folks. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: Came around often enough. Attractive. Management Rating: 4 Management Description: Management was helpful and responsive. Comps Rating: 4 Comps Description: $4 rake. Play tracked on MGM card.
