Bally's Player Room Review Bally's is an all-around good poker room 01/07/08, Player: tylerlong77 Total Rating: 3.40 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: The poker room isn't glitzy, being right in the middle of the casino, but that doesn't matter to me. I can stand the background noise, all other things considered. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: There was more than enough fish for the good players to share. I was there from Thrs thru Mon. Thrs. was easy pickens, so I was drooling waiting for the weekend. But surprisingly, the game got a little tougher. But all around, a good player will do well in this room from my experience. Dealer Rating: 5 Dealer Description: I loved the Bally's dealers! There were one or two that just went through the motions, but most of them were very friendly, and showed GENUINE appreciation (not a forced 'thank you') for all tips, no matter the size. They would throw in an occasional joke as well. My favorite was named David, I think. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: The service was extremely fast. Most of the servers weren't good looking at all, but I didn't care. I need to focus on my cards and I want them bringing beers to the fish as fast a possible. So in that regard, they were excellent. Management Rating: 4 Management Description: I got along well with all the poker room managers. They were very accomadating with my table-change requests (even when I asked for the 4th time in one session). Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: A dollar an hour comp.
