South Point Player Room Review OK time at South Point 12/31/07, Player: Taz007 Total Rating: 3.00 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: Not really a room, it was set off in the corner with a half wall around it. The area is non smoking but the smoke from people smoking near by would drift into the area. The area was clean and had nice tables. They did not have an electronic waiting list board. They had several TV's but you can only see them from certain seats, so if you want to watch TV while playing you will have to select these seats or ask for a seat change when they become available. There are slot machines nearby the poker area so it could get a little noisy but I did not notice it while I was there. Also the poker area is in a back corner so you do not get a lot of foot traffic, thus you may not get a lot of drop in new players that may walk by and try it after they see others playing. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: There was your average mix of tourist and regulars playing while I was there. Dealer Rating: 4 Dealer Description: Dealers were very freindly and saw very few if any mistakes while I was there. They seemed to enjoy what they were doing and always were smiling and talking to players who wanted to talk while at the same time not slowing the game down. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: The cocktails were good, waitress came by often and were very nice. Management Rating: 1 Management Description: The management unlike the dealers looked like they did not want to be there and I do not think they smiled once while I was there. But keep in mind I only saw two while I was there, so the others may be different. Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: They had jackpots for certain hands but I can not remeber the details of these. Not sure if they give comps for hours played, I did not look into this since I was only going to be playing for a few hours. Back to South Point Room Review |
