Excalibur Player Room Review I cant hear myself think 10/23/07, Player: mr liability Total Rating: 2.20 Room Quality Rating: 2 Room Quality Description: The Excalibur's casino is already the gambling equivalent of the new york stock exchange. The poker room itself is nothing special, and is excruciatingly loud. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: Terrible players abound. Not Flamingo bad, but still terrible. If you can stand it, you can actually make great money playing super super aggressive. Just make sure you scream out RAISE so everyone can hear you. Dealer Rating: 2 Dealer Description: Deales were terible, and not nice to make up for it. In one hand with an exposed card misdealt to me pre-flop, the dealer, rather than switch it with the burn card, told me I had to take the card AND fold. I told the dealer that was not kosher, but I was told not to comment on the hand since I had folded (or was automatically folded). So I left. Cocktail Rating: 1 Cocktail Description: Watery well booze in tiny glasses. I asked for Crown, they said they had Seagrams, and think I got Ten High. Great place to wok on your rot gut. I saw beers being served in bottles, but no matter what I asked for I got Bud in an 8 ounce cup. Management Rating: 2 Management Description: Not too many choices other than low limit holdem, and the management doesnt encourage anything else. They do manage the list well, but with the chaos I dont know how. They are not helpful in dealing with player disputes or dealer mistakes. Comps Rating: 2 Comps Description: I dont know what they offer in meals. I never stay long enough to eat. I hear there's a jackpot of some sort, but i dont have the patience.
