Excalibur (Live) Player Room Review Good times at the Excalibur. 10/05/07, Player: Boston Total Rating: 3.90 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: Got a nice feeling from this "room," however the condition of the tables was only so-so. Only some tables had auto-shufflers and they often weren't working correctily. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: Mainly people on vacation, but there were a few people I saw there everytime. Either locals, or tourists that knew how to play the game. Dealer Rating: 4 Dealer Description: The dealers were generally friendly and did a good job. Only one incident that seemed iffy. On my third day there some of them recognized me and that I knew about poker and knew that I knew what I was doing. On one particular instance, a player did a string bet against me, and the dealer seemed to look at me and let me make the decision. Other than that the dealers seemed good. Cocktail Rating: 3 Cocktail Description: Ok looking, nothing special, though the outfits certainly don' help in that regard. Cocktail speed service was ok. Management Rating: 4 Management Description: Recognized me on my second trip into the room, only thing is I would prefer an electronic waitlist rather than just on paper. All questions were answered with no problems. Comps Rating: 4 Comps Description: Had a bad beat jackpot as well as the "Spin the Wheel" for Quads or better and cracked AA.
