Paris Player Room Review Increased rake to $5 + $1 for jackpot.!!! $6 Rake too high!!!! 09/25/07, Player: OkieDave Total Rating: 3.65 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: Now in the sports book. A little cramped but ok. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: Easy enough but how can you beat this rake? $5 plus $1 for jackpot ($6 from a pot is ridiculous) Boycott this greedily high rake!! Dealer Rating: 4 Dealer Description: Dealers were good and profesdsional. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: Good looking and prompt enough most of the time. Management Rating: 2 Management Description: When I brought up the increased rake, thet floor man said that it had been that way for three weeks and that I was the first one to compliain. Further, he didn't seem concerned about my business whatsoever. When I asked if this increase was strictly Paris or all of Harrah's property, he told me that it was all of Harrah's property so needless to say, I haven't been to any other Harrah's properties since. Someone told me a few days ago that this is not true and that only Paris and Bally's are raking $5 so if anyone can confirm this, let me know.
