Gold Coast Player Room Review BAD-especially the dealers and management! 07/29/07, Player: Johnny Vegas Total Rating: 1.20 Room Quality Rating: 1 Room Quality Description: Dirty, there is nothing nice about the Gold Coast. Competition Rating: 1 Competition Description: The level of play is average, but the players are mostly very poor locals. They get very rude when they lose (because their losing thier rent or food money). Several regualars try to work the comp system by sitting down with $20 in chips and leaving for an hour. They come back and play a couple of hands and leave again. In 4 hours we never hand a full table. Most of the dealers didn't even give out the second missed blind or seem to want to deal with a pick up. Dealer Rating: 1 Dealer Description: One dealer named Joe was OK. Most were very bad and the game is out of control. Cocktail Rating: 3 Cocktail Description: No issues-average service with above average speed and drink selection. Management Rating: 1 Management Description: If I could rate them a 0 I would. Terrible! Especially the Saturday night manager. He would let locals move, and make a table full only to leave another table with 6 players. This room is out of control and poorly managed. The cater to low life locals trying to grind out the comps. Comps Rating: 1 Comps Description: The comps are OK, but who wants to use the comps at the Gold Coast. I've eaten in every restaurant and they are all equally bad. Also, because the comp is $1.50/hr this room attracts low end locals who buy in for $20 and play 2 hands every 60 minutes (trying to work the system). Management and the dealers seem to have no problem with this behavior. Overall, horrible room! Back to Gold Coast Room Review |
