Riviera Player Room Review I wish I didnt come here. 03/11/07, Player: VegasAl Total Rating: 2.30 Room Quality Rating: 2 Room Quality Description: The room was small but centrally located.Certainly didnt impress me at all. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: Seemed I was playing with all tourists. I played the morning tournament, and didnt get into the live game. Watched the live game for a while , seemed to be a mix of old rocks and tourists. Dealer Rating: 2 Dealer Description: All the dealers seemed fresh out of dealer school. They were personal, but obviously inexperienced. We had a couple of problems and the dealers seemed to take a middle of the road stand instead of trying to fix the problem. Ex: When someone complained that someone made a string bet, the dealer said, 'Well, it was kinda a string bet, next time don't do that' and then he let the bet stand. Cocktail Rating: 3 Cocktail Description: Didnt get any drinks but I remember seeing them come around from time to time. Management Rating: 1 Management Description: When I signed up for the tournament, I used a black chip. The floor man smirked and asked ' Where did you get this , black jack or something?' Then grudgingly used it for my entry. He asked me my name and I gave him my first name. He then stared at me for about 5 seconds. Finally he said ' LAST NAME?' Guy was one of the rudest floor people Ive ever seen. Should have said forget it and got my money back. Comps Rating: 2 Comps Description: Didnt notice any comp system, not sure what kind of promotions they had going in the live game. Back to Riviera Room Review |
