Plaza Player Room Review Room With No Walls 03/02/07, Player: billboy Total Rating: 2.90 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: The Plaza poker room isn't really a room it's an area. I got the feel of old las vegas,probably from the look of the players, and alot of riff raff walking around the area.The tables are in good condition, with portable tables for drinks. The craps and black jack tables are seriously to close to the poker tables. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: Most of the competition was pretty easy, but some players knew what they were doing.These players seem to watch to much T.V..This is a sit n go heaven.$40.00 buy pays to places and they run constantly. Alot of action,money is very accessible. Dealer Rating: 3 Dealer Description: The dealers I had deal to me knew the game very well and moved the game along very well.Jack and Brian stood out and made the game very enjoyable,Chief was a good dealer but had the personality of a rock.I need more from my dealers, Jack and Brian are your best bets, get them to deal and have fun, you will enjoy your poker experience!!! Cocktail Rating: 3 Cocktail Description: Cocktails are quick and they keep them coming, but the attitude of the dayshift waitress are out of this world. Let her know when they ask the first time or you might get passed on your order. They all seem to be in there upper 60's no young pretty ones here. I dont know about the other shifts but days they are up there. Drinks can be stong but they dont carry all liquors. Management Rating: 2 Management Description: The managers I encountered we not well versed in poker, but they are friendly.The day manager with the pompador didn't seem to know anything about the game.Onelady manager had a very annoying voice and was very loud, the other was handling a gereatric group playing Pan, a game somewhat like rummy.She was very pleasant in dealing with her players. Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: Comps were $7.00 for 4 hours of live play, deli was very good.The poker room also had high hand jackpots but that was only in the live games, some great bonuses, I liked this idea.
