Sahara Player Room Review

very good tourneys, mediocre room
01/01/07, Player: kobra123

Total Rating: 3.45

Room Quality Rating: 3
Room Quality Description: The room is congested and appears to be little shabby, yet I did not feel uncomfortable.

Competition Rating: 3
Competition Description: I mainly played the morning and evening tournaments during the Christmas time. It had a correct mix of tourists and locals. The locals are average in skill, nothing to be scared of. Some of them are too tight. That means if you have average poker skill, you will find some people who would donate their chips to you as well as some people whom you can push out of a pot easily. One thing I must mention here. In my opinion, the tournaments in Sahara are the best below-$100 tournaments in Las Vegas. In expense of only $62 (after the only rebuy), nowhere you are going to get 5000 chips with a decent blind structure.

Dealer Rating: 4
Dealer Description: I found most of the dealers very competent, helpful.

Cocktail Rating: 4
Cocktail Description: Not very attractive, but efficient.

Management Rating: 4
Management Description: Management is friendly, helpful and they seem to be handling all the tournaments and cash games pretty well.

Comps Rating: 4
Comps Description: Evening sandwitches are quite tasty. I dont know anything about their comps rating.
