Sahara Player Room Review Local Point of View 12/31/06, Player: Schnukums Total Rating: 2.80 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: It is an old room with old tables and small TVs. Nonsmoking except for the fact that you take two steps away from the table and smoke there. Kinda pointless. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: Some local but mostly tourist that have drunk to much. 2-4 is usually the only limit game going with one 1-2 no limit table. PLayers are very loose and always trying for the bad beat jackpot. Which is the easiest bad beat jackpot to hit in vegas. (Aces full of anything beat.) Dealer Rating: 1 Dealer Description: Dealers are poor and often need to be told how to read the hands properly. They are friendly but that doesnt make up for the fact that they dont do their job well. Cocktail Rating: 1 Cocktail Description: One cocktail waitress for the whole room on a saturday night with a tourny going. Takes about 30 mins to get a drink. So if you dont mind 2 drinks an hour then your good Management Rating: 2 Management Description: Managers dont care much and dont enforce many rules. I used to go there 4 times a week and they never even learned my name. I've been to other rooms a couple of times and they remeber my name and what games I play. (I look like I'm 16yrs old so I really stickout in the poker room sitting with a bunch of 60 yr olds0 Comps Rating: 4 Comps Description: They dont take cards but the will give you a $3 food comp as long as your playing. No time limit needed. Across the way is a restraunt you can get a burger or wings for less then $2 with coupon. (They dont advertise it but just ask and they will give it to you.)
