Aladdin Player Room Review October 2006 Review 10/26/06, Player: stevel59 Total Rating: 4.00 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: As mentioned the poker room is temporary but the Aladdin crew did a great job of making it comforatable and a good playing experience. For tournament play, there was always a statistic screen in site with all that current stats including payouts visible. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: I rate this as somewhat tough. I played in 3 tournaments and I found the competition to be a mixture of locals from floor bosses to dealers and some locals looking for a strong game. Then throw in some newbies and wannabes and you have the Aladdin. I cahsed two out of the three tournaments I played there. I beleive Doyle Bronson put it " I play my best game against good players and my worst game against bad players. Dealer Rating: 5 Dealer Description: I have to say top notched. Although the dealers were all in their twenties they were all very sharp and well trained. They were very vocal, polite and kept the game moving. I only saw one mistake and the dealer immediately called for the "floor" and the issue was resolved quickly. Cocktail Rating: 5 Cocktail Description: I only drink water during my play but the waitress kept the drinks flowing for everyone. The bar was only 10 feet away. Management Rating: 5 Management Description: Excellent management and very well organized. I was always greeted by the manager and quickly excorted to my seat. If I prepaid and was late, the dealer always alerted me to how many blinds I missed Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: The had a high hand pay out over over $58,000 but since I only played tournaments I can not comment.
