Aladdin Player Room Review didnt think it would be this easy 09/08/06, Player: ScottCAZ Total Rating: 3.35 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: Not really a room more of a roped off area. Tables in good condition. nothing special though Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: wow, first time playing in vegas and was much easier then i thought. Played 2am tourney 60 buy in. I play a lot a local free games in AZ at a few different bars, and the players i play with there were 10 times better then the compition in vegas. The tourney was 99% all hotel guests and i think one guy that was local. 35 in the tourney, and about 4 knew what they were doing. People stayin in pots way to long just giving there money away. You could tell most of them were nervous (hands shaking, betting out of turn, not knowing how much was min raise). i was a little intimidated coming in but after about 3-4 hands i figured i was one of the better players at the table. Most of these people maybe play poker 1-2 times per year , so for somebody who does play often, and knows some basic poker moves. It should be pretty easy to make some money Dealer Rating: 5 Dealer Description: Dealers were friendly, made us laugh a few times had good controll of everything. no mistakes. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: waitresses were fairley quick for the most part. one was gorgeous, the rest were above average looking. No complaints. Management Rating: 5 Management Description: Management was great, i walked right up and asked a few questions and they were very friendly about it. Very courteous and ran the tourney very smooth. I talked with the Mgr for a few minutes on break and he was a nice guy. We talked about the games there being mostly out-of-towners, and for anyone that knows how to play it should be fairly easy to make some good cash. I agreed.
