Tropicana Player Room Review A decent place to play 08/10/06, Player: pocktdeuces Total Rating: 2.90 Room Quality Rating: 2 Room Quality Description: I'd say the room was below average. There were 4 tables, but the most i ever saw being used was 3. The chairs were ok, the tables subpar. it was a small room, but there were 3 good sized tv's so that was nice. Not smokey at all, which was a big plus for me. Competition Rating: 5 Competition Description: I ran into 1 other guy who knew what he was doing. Most of the people there were just having a good time, and figured "why not try texas hold'em. That game on tv where you can bet all your chips." I loved it. i had one losing session out of 7. and that was only because i had to leave to play a tourney somewhere else. Dealer Rating: 3 Dealer Description: Some were good, most average, one very bad. Didnt hold the game up too much, so i wasnt too displeased. one really pissed me off...but she was just incompitent and i doubt she will be working there for long. Cocktail Rating: 3 Cocktail Description: came around every 30 minutes. not good looking, but not horrible. Most were friendly. one pushed for bigger tips, and then took much longer if she didnt get them. (annoying) Management Rating: 3 Management Description: They didnt really do much. No real decisions were needed, but they were very friendly. Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: None whatsoever. Oh well. they lack of skill of the other players made up for it.
